7/24/2023 0 Comments Ember court atoning rituals![]() uh tangent, sorry!Ģ) Provide some practice opportunities. That gold could go to flasks or to leveling up a profession whose items aren’t even worth more than the mats. What other quest in the game could be described similarly to “kill the Drust as payment for a sentient mushroom to teleport you to an island with clean water to brew tea with”? It’s something straight out of a homebrew D&D campaign, and it has a dash of the vanilla WoW fantasy that retail currently lacks.ġ) reduce the mats necessary to restock/unlock upgrades - paying 100’s or 1000’s of gold to convince people to attend a party and requiring you to re-rsvp each week is bleeding me dry. The sort who minmax and compete can completely neglect the Ember Court and change nothing, while casual players have a new reason to play the game. ![]() Sure, it doesn’t give power rewards, but that’s a good thing because otherwise people would try to nolife it like everything else. The Ember Court provides a break in the grind by providing a reason to play that is entirely for fun (which a game is meant to be), while still allowing interaction with the world as you personally invite guests and buy mats to repair damages from the last party. Many players see this game as less of a game and more of a job you pay for, because most content provides important daily/weekly rewards for player power. No minigame has brought back the struggling “RPG” element in “MMORPG” better than the Ember Court.
